Robert is a Certified Public Accountant who provides professional accounting, tax, management, and consulting services to a diverse range of closely held businesses and individuals. Beginning his career in 1973, he formed Robert Watkins & Company in 1980 and has built the firm into a multifaceted, highly respected professional accounting and consulting firm.

Robert attended Auburn University (1969-1971) and the University of South Florida (graduated 1973). He passed the Uniform CPA Exam and received certification in 1975. Robert is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Born in 1951, he is married to Nancy Hemmingway Watkins. They have two sons, Richard and Michael. His interests include boating, fishing, golf, and politics.
